TERMS OF SERVICE / TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms set out the conditions under which Alderman’s Firewood (“we”, “us”, “our”) supplies firewood and related services to customers (“you”). By placing an order on our website, you agree to these terms.
1. Products
We supply naturally seasoned hardwood firewood in various formats (nets, bulk bags, crates and IBC cages).
All weights are approximate and may vary slightly due to moisture levels and natural variation in hardwood logs.
2. Ordering
Orders can be placed online through our website.
Once your order is received, we will contact you (if necessary) to confirm delivery details.
We reserve the right to cancel an order if stock becomes unavailable. If this happens, you will receive a full refund.
3. Delivery
We offer local delivery to Saddleworth, Greenfield, Uppermill, Mossley, Oldham, Ashton and other nearby areas.
Delivery times are arranged directly with you.
It is your responsibility to ensure:
there is suitable access for delivery,
someone is present to accept the order,
any delivery instructions are provided in advance.
Once the firewood has been delivered and accepted in person, the order is considered complete.
4. Refunds & returns
Firewood is a natural product and is non-returnable.
Because all deliveries are made in person and accepted by you at the time of delivery, we operate a no-refund policy once the firewood has been handed over, unless the product is faulty or not as described.
If there is an issue at the point of delivery, please raise it immediately so it can be resolved on the spot.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
5. IBC cages, crates & bulk bags
Unless otherwise stated:
Crates, bulk bags and IBC cages are included with your delivery and remain yours to keep.
6. Pricing
Prices shown on the website include VAT (if applicable).
We reserve the right to update prices at any time, but confirmed orders will always be honoured at the price you paid.
7. Use of the website
You agree not to:
misuse or attempt to disrupt the website,
extract, copy or reuse content without permission.
All content, logos and images remain the property of Alderman’s Firewood.
8. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for:
damage caused by improper storage of firewood after delivery,
damage caused by burning wet, unseasoned or incompatible fuel alongside our logs,
losses arising from events outside our control.
Our total liability is limited to the price of the order in question.
